back home where it belongs. I had the privilege of meeting him and his son in person and he is a genuinely nice guy. 

          We spent some time talking about his family and parents and how I came across this wedding book. Like I have said things happen in life and things get lost. That’s where I get the honor of reuniting them with their family. Meeting them in person makes it even a better experience to see the joy in their face that someone would go out of their way to get it home. 

         Jason owns his own flavoring company, Flavor West if anyone needs anything. He also owns Vapor Renu for anyone interested in vapor related products. 

Roger and Marlene Sterns

least to Arizona and ending up in California.  Something funny written in the book was  that Marlene crashed the car in Arizona on their way to California on their honeymoon. She ran into a road block crushing the front end, head lights and windshield. 

         They had two sons in California, Jeffery and Jason Sterns. I made contact with Jason on Facebook about reuniting him with this family heirloom I came across. I have said it may times and I will continue to say it, it is a small world. Jason only lives a few miles from me. Within 4 days of finding the wedding book it was reunited with their son and 

          Things have been crazy in life right now with moving into our new house and in the middle of it taking a week long cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It had been awhile since we made a trip to the swapmeet. Since it was a beautiful warm day we decided to go on November 12, 2016. To our surprise we hit the jackpot finding 5 heirlooms to reunite with their families. My favorite find of the day was a wedding book from 1965.

          Roger Dale and Marlene Mae (Colfack) Sterns were reunited in marriage on Saturday, November 20th, 1965 at Wesleyan Methodist Church in O’Neill, Nebraska. Marlene was the daughter of Carl C. and Rose LaVern (Karel) Colfack, born August 28, 1946 in Nebraska. Roger was the son of Edward William and Eva M (Osborne) Sterns, born April 15, 1942 in Nebraska. They met at Andy's Drive-In were Roger came in with a guy named Don. He said he was living in California and had a new car. She couldn't pass up either.  I know from their wedding book they spent their honeymoon traveling at
